PROPS, WEAPONS & ARMOUR FABRICATION
As part of the Props crew, I helped build and set up the Props workshop from scratch, transforming an empty industrial space into a fully operational fabrication workshop for the production.
Working from prop sheets containing the design and dimensions of each piece, my work focused on creating masters for weapons, armour and props ready for moulding and reproduction. Depending on the design, pieces were fabricated using wood, metal, leather, sculpting and other traditional techniques, or built from 3D-printed components that were cleaned, assembled, refined and textured to achieve the required finish.
Many props required a combination of techniques and materials, integrating 3D-printed elements with hand-fabricated wooden or metal components, sculpted details, leather and other materials to create the final master before it was sent to the moulding department.
I also worked on horse armour, creating compression moulds for the production of the armour components.
