WOLF CUSTOME HEAD

Commissioned fabrication of a wolf costume head inspired by the aesthetic of vintage amusement parks. The process began with a 3D model, which was unfolded into a pattern, printed to scale and assembled as a paper reference maquette. The pattern pieces were then transferred to EVA foam to build the main structure.

Moldable foam was used to sculpt the organic facial volumes before covering the head with textured faux-fur fabric. A welding helmet frame was integrated inside the structure to provide a secure fit for the performer, together with a shoulder support system designed to distribute the weight and improve stability.

The piece was completed with a hand-painted finish and semi-transparent mesh eyes, allowing visibility from inside while maintaining the appearance of solid eyes on camera.
